New rumours tells that Samsung's next flagship Galaxy S7 will come with a smaller 12MP camera with huge sensor. It is just a rumour.We are not sure about it.
Later rumours was telling that new Galaxy S7 will be coming with a 20MP camera. But Samsung is planning on much larger sensor with smaller resolution. Larger sensors with smaller resolution means larger pixels or space between pixels. This would result in more low light performance and more autofocus.
The rumour claims that the camera will be coming with a 12MP camera with a 1\2" sensor size. These type of cameras are included in new Google's smartphones with 12MP camera with a big 1\2.3" sensor size which resulted in great camera samples.
The 12MP sensor is said to be with a dual Photodiode technology.
Other than that Galaxy S7 is said to come with a 5.2 inch screen size with a force touch display and also with a USB type C.
Megapixels are not all that matters in camera. We can't prefer a camera's quality with its specs. It also depends on the sensor and image produced by the camera.
