Nowadays, when we saying about smartphone most heared word is 4k display. If number of pixels in horizontal area of unit area is 4000, we call it as 4K. Also calls 4 times of 1080 pixels.

When 4K shows better performance in larger TV screen, it is useless to use 4K displays in smartphones having maximum screen size of 5.5" / 6".You could not feel any difference in resolution in smartphones. Basic thing of 4K displays is to remain a picture's clarity when it is enlarged. You think yourself, what is the need for filling screen with these number of pixels.
Another unit for representing resolution in smartphone displays is ppi (pixels per inch). Normally, a person with sight power of 20/20 could only identify a maximum of 300 ppi. Then what is the benefit for using 4K phones which have 802 ppi???
