that can be done by a smartphone (it might more than a smartphone)...
Sharp launched a new product named RoBoHoN, which is a bipedal robot which can take duties that a smartphone can perform. It might be your cute smartphone as well as your digital assistant.
RoBoHoN is a new smartphone which you've never seen before in human shape. A phone that you feel like talking to, that also want to know you, to hear what you hear, to see what you see, to share the same dreams.
RoBoHoN reacts to your every orders and commands and also having always-on microphone which will react to your every commands every time. It can do tasks such as alarms, schedules, read or reply e-mails and place a phone call. It can move from its position which is not done by a smartphone.
The Sharp RoBoHoN can perform basic robotic movements such as walking, squatting, dancing and waving hand to give greets. The Sharp targets to replace the heartless smartphone with a robotic device which is more suitable for human interaction.
RoBoHoN having most of the features included in a smartphone. It comes with Qualcomm Snapdargon 400 SoC, 3G Connectivity, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Camera (for search in background) and a built-in projector which is useful to watch movies and all. For when voice commands connot be done, it uses a tiny 2 inch display with 240 x 320 px resolution.
It can also recognise voice and face..!

Weight Approx. 390g
Sharp doesn't mention the OS which the Robot run. It might be android OS.
RoBoHaN would be available from the first half of 2016 in the 'robots' country' Japan. Sharp RoBoHaN's Price has not been revealed yet.
