Whatsapp, the popular messenger app owned by facebook, could be adding video calling facility soon. According to the reports fropm Germany, Whatsapp had already tested its Beta version internally. As like whatsapp call, the video call facility would be arrived at ios platform initially.
The current official version of Whatsapp in App store, carries the version number 2.12.12. According to the reports, the version that had tested internally is version 2.12.16.2
From the leaked images of tested beta version, we can switch the camera between front and rear, and the outgoing caller's video will be shown as a thumbnail on screen. Another major change that is to be expected on next version is 'tabs'. You can use multiple tabs for different chats and switch between them easily, like a web browser (Chrome, Safari, etc) without going back to the chat list.
All these features will be arrived on next version of Whatsapp in iOS platform as either official or Beta program. Android users will get these features, only after arriving in iOS.
