Qualcomm has launched its newer chipset Snapdragon 820 today. The chipset is based on 64 bit quadcore which snapdragon uses their own kyro core which has a maximum speed of 2.2GHz. The company promises that it will give twice the performance than Snapdragon 810.
The chipset will be built with a Next-gen 14nm LPP (Low Power Plus or Performance) 14nm process. The processor will be able to give Much faster perfomance with less power consumption. The New LPP 14nm process is better than A9 or Exynos
7420.
It is packed with New Adreno 530 GPU which deliver high end graphics with a 40% more performance than older 430 GPU. The chipset has a maximum capacity to support upto 28MP camera and 4k Video capture and playback.
The Snapdragon 820 is the first chipset to come with LTE-U.Snapdragon 820 has a X12 LTE modem which will give downloading speed upto 600MB/s. It has 33% improvement in downloading speed and 300% improvement in uploading speed than the Snapdragon 810.
The Chipset also come with Quick Charge™ 3.0
which is 38% faster than Quick Charge™ 2.0
. The users can charge up your phones four times faster than ordinary charging.
We can see Snapdragon 820 in upcoming smartphones in 2016.
