Last week a video uploaded by Jerry Rig on YouTube shows that Huawei's Nexus 6P has a poor build quality. In his video it shows that the Huawei Nexus 6P failed to the Screen scratch test and bend test. The device bend and broke halfly. By watching the video we know that he acted only a force which a chocolate wafer need to break.
But Huawei fans point out that Jerry Rig did that after removing its Corning® Gorilla Glass™ 4 covering or he got a poorly built unit.
Some another videos subsequentially showed that Huaweis Nexus 6P could survive the pressure of 90 pounds with only a tiny bend. This seemingly would prove that he had tested the bend survival by removing Gorilla Glass or he got an odd one which built poorly.
By responding to the counter criticism, JerryRig uploaded a new video on last day showing a sealed boxed Huawei Nexus 6P, but there was onlythin film of glass and plastic side joining the mid-frame against the rear. So you can see that there is no aluminium midframe that would make the phone hard to bend.
In the new video, JerryRig didn't remove the Gorilla Glass 4 unlike in the last video. And again he bent the device easily as in the last video.
As this situation, we can't believe that Jerry Rig got the poorly built one at the second time. That might happen once, but twice is .... just like unbelievable. So, we have to trust Jerry at this time.
